Delicious Chewy Brownies

Ok, I know....WHY OH WHY am I doing this to you? You're trying to be healthy. You're trying to fit into your skinnies this year. Let me tell you...yes, these have sugar. Yes, these have cocoa powder. Yes, there is some flour....but they are DELICIOUS. AND...if this helps, we cut the sugar down from the original called amount and cut the cocoa powder too, because...hold on to your panties....our kids aren't big on anything that is 'too' sweet. Ya, don't even worry about reading that last part over again....you read it right.

What you need:
- 3/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 3/4 c melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 c flour (i used unbleached)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt (suggest not doing if your butter is salted)

What to do:
1) Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
2) Mix all the dry ingredients together.
3) Make sure butter is completely melted and put all the wet ingredients together and mix.
4) pour wet slowly into the dry while mixing and continue mixing until blended.
5) Spread evenly into 9x13 greased pan.
6) Bake for 25-30 min.
7) Allow to cool completely before cutting and serving.

NOTES:
- In order for the brownies to not be 'crumbly' it's highly suggested you mix dry, mix wet and then blend. Normally, I just do everything together...but for this, it's def suggested to do seperately.
- Melt the butter completely people...it takes a few extra minutes. Do it...your brownies will be better.
- 9x13 is what is called for, but I made mine thinner by using something slighty larger. I also used the rubber 'pans'. Worked beautifully. Not going to lie, I am not sure what it would've been like in an actual pan.
**IT'S GOING TO BE STICKY...the batter that is. It's supposed to be that way...hence CHEWY brownies. If you don't like sticky batter, don't make this recipe...period.
- Defintely wait until they are completely cooled before cutting. If you see the picture above, the middle has a little crumbling going on. BECAUSE it still wasn't cool in the middle. GRRR. BUT, it was perfectly cut and still chewy on the cooled cut pieces. Don't care about crumbling, ignore the cooling and cut away. I get it...you want them NOW! ha.

As always, enjoy. Make sure y'all let me know how it turns out. The good, bad and ugly. Feel free to share the brownie love...and if you can't....at least share the recipe people.
